Passion

Send me to God upon wings of fire
Thinking of some things I've left unsaid
Lest I be consumed by my burning desire

All this time running blind in the briar
A kingdom's crown raked from my head
Lest I be consumed by my burning desire

The walls of my fortress begging to tire
Smith of my body messing with lead
Send me to God upon wings of fire

I whisper no then scream out liar
Fate decreed thou make thy own bed
Lest I be consumed by my burning desire

What dares make this master for hire
The Prince's secret un-kept if ever she read
Send me to God upon wings of fire

Priceless emotion seeking a buyer
Thy beauty became a poison instead
Send me to God upon wings of fire
Lest I be consumed by my burning desire
Used the same format my teacher made me use to wrote a poem back in High School.
